Madison couples will have plenty of options for marking Valentine's Day this year.
The Madison School and Community Recreation will be holding "Romance Under the Stars" to raise funds for the Madison Metropolitan School District Planetarium.
These events are for guests 18 years old and older. The event will have multiple one-hour showings every day from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 17. The shows will be from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm and 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the planetarium, 201 S Gammon Road.
Families with children over the age of eight are invited to attend "Enchantment Under the Stars" evenings at the planetarium on February 14, 15, and 16 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, as well as am afternoon slot on Saturday, February 15 from 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm.
Starkweather Brewing Company will have a Beer & Chocolate Pairing on February 14 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event will offer six different craft beer and chocolate pairings guided by a Brewmaster and Chocolatier. A Wine and Chocolate tasting will be the day before at 7:00 pm at Black Sheep Chocolate, 1022 N Sherman Avenue.
The Bartell Community Theatre will be holding a Valentine Affair 2025 with eight love scenes from Shakespeare and Thomas Dekker. This event will be February 13 through 15 at 113 E Mifflin Street.
