Madison area offers three holiday light shows
Madison families can enjoy three holiday light shows between now and early into the new year.
Olin Park, 1156 Olin-Turville Ct. has already brought its 32nd annual Dusk till Dawn Holiday Fantasy in Lights to the public, courtesy of Electric Group. This event will be free, featuring over 50 light displays, and is now open from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm until January 3, 2021.
Zoo Lights will be a one-way hour walk on a path through Henry Vilas Zoo, 702 South Randall. The path will be decorated with new animal light displays. Space heaters will be located around the zoo and concessions will be available at Glacier Grille. The walk will be $10 per person, and free to children three and under.
Zoo Lights opens Friday, November 27 and will run until Sunday, December 27, with hours of 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Only the Randall Avenue main entrance will be open during the evenings. Masks will be required.
Rotary Botanical Gardens Holiday Light Show at 1455 Palmer Drive in Janesville will twinkle with more than one million lights starting November 27 through 29, and continuing December 3 through 6, 10 through 13, 17 through 23, and 26 through 30. The lights will be on from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm. Tickets will be $10 for adults, and $5 for kids ages 3 to 12.
Organizations putting on light events like these often have pictures taken to put into their advertising brochure printing.
