Blackhawk Country Club, located at 3600 Blackhawk Drive, has two golfing events scheduled for the end of summer.
The first event will be on Monday, August 10, when the club will host the 7th Annual Prairie Hawk Golf Open. Proceeds will go to the Madison Country Day School’s athletic needs.
Each golfer will get a goodie bag filled with local business and merchant Promotional Products and golf-related items.
Individual tickets and coach and alumni sponsorships will be $145 each. Most sponsor levels include T-Shirts sporting the MCDS graphic design.
Staggered tee times will begin at noon and the event will have a scramble format. The closing ceremony will be via Zoom.
The second event will be the 24th Greater Bucky Open 2020. Proceeds will go to American Family Children’s Hospital at University of Wisconsin Health and to the university’s student mascot program.
Single player registration will be $200. Golfers are asked to bring toys for the annual toy drive, and local businesses are also contributing items for the auction.
Every par 3 will have a hole-in-one prize. Trophies will go to longest and shortest drives, closest to the cow, worst shot of the day, and best golf story. Sponsorships begin at the $200 level and go up to $15,000.
The Annual Greater Bucky Open will begin at 10:00 am with a shotgun start at 11:00 am on September 18.
