One Downtown Madison New Year’s gala will be a composite of the Essen House German Restaurant and Come Back In, while another will be the Madison Concourse Hotel.
New Year’s Eve revelers can enjoy festivities at both the Essen Haus German Restaurant, 514 E. Wilson Street, and the Come Back In, 508 E Wilson Street, for a single cover charge.
The extravaganza will begin at 6:00 pm on December 31 at the restaurant with a shrimp buffet and salad bar. From 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, a prime rib dinner will be served. An assortment of desserts and light snacks will be served from 10:00 pm until midnight. The Gary Beal Band will play from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Half liters of German beers and a choice of wines will be available, with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
The Come Back In will have beers on tap and live music from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am, featuring Granny Shot. All-inclusive tickets will be $90 until Thursday, December 23 then $95 until the day of the event.
Also, the Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club at 1 W Dayton Street, will have two nights of New Year festivities. On New Year’s Eve there will be Surf ‘n Turf dinners, a live comedy show, live jazz, and a DJ dance party. New Year’s Day will feature live music by Blue Olives.
Pictures taken at festive events such as these often go to local Print shops to become part of the host’s advertising brochure printing.
