A huge music festival is coming to Kenosha, featuring tribute bands.
Tribute Island is an extravaganza that brings thousands of music fans together to enjoy the music of the best tribute bands in the region. Over 50 bands will be playing over a period of three nights and days on five different stages in downtown Kenosha. The five are the Island Stage, Dockside Stage, Beachside Stage, Lighthouse Stage, and Harborside Stage, which is the indoor ballroom.
Examples of the bands who will be playing are Petty Union, and TNT-Chicago. Petty Union is a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and comprises professional musicians who have shared the stage with artists like Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton. TNT-Chicago is a tribute to AC/DC. The band comprises professional musicians who recreate the energy, sounds and sights of an AC/DC performance.
The venue is the grounds of Wyndham Garden Kenosha Harborside Hotel, which is on 6th Avenue. The festival is taking over the entire waterfront and will transform it, adding additional bathroom facilities indoors. Rooms will be available at the hotel for the event, and organizers indicate they can move the entire festival inside in case of oppressive heat or heavy rain.
Tribute Island is scheduled for August 4, 5, and 6. Organizers of events like this can work with brochure printers to create programs for the event, giving attendees additional information about the performers.
