A well-regarded retailer of tools will soon open in Kenosha.

Harbor Freight Tools is almost ready to open a location in Kenosha, taking over premises in the former Gordman’s building, which is located at 7450 Green Bay Road.

The store hours will be 8:00 am until 8:00 pm Mondays through Saturdays, and from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm on Sundays. Products stocked by the store will include a complete selection of equipment and tools in such categories as hand tools, shop equipment, welding supplies, generators, outdoor power equipment, storage, power and air tools, and automotive.

Harbor Freight’s new location is the 23rd store in the state, and is expected to employ from 25 to 30 new staff members, who will be members of the local community. Ryan Johnson, who will manage the new location, said the team is looking forward to serving Kenosha proper and the surrounding county. He noted that:

“At Harbor Freight, we recognize that now, more than ever, our customers depend on us for the tools they need to get the job done at an affordable price.”

Harbor Freight Tools was founded in North Hollywood, California, in 1977, as a mail-order tool company. Today, the chain has locations in 48 states, and employs more than 25,000 people in more than 1,300 brick-and-mortar stores.

The location opens this Saturday, October 29. When events like these are planned, companies can use banner printing to create appropriate decorations for the day.
