Rudolph plans to get rowdy in Kenosha

An upcoming event may help to explain why Rudolph the Reindeer has a red nose.

Rowdy Rudolph’s Six Bars of Christmas Holiday Bar Crawl is the first-ever bar crawl through Kenosha’s Downtown, hosted by Rustic Road Brewing and the Tavern on 6th. Attendees are encouraged to get together with friends, dress up in ugly sweaters or other Christmas décor, and enjoy some tasty beverages.

The cost for the event is $25, which includes a goody bag, a beer koozie, a single drink ticket, and a wristband. People who bring in two canned food items will be given a ticket good for one free drink at either Rustic Road or the Tavern on 6th. Any canned food collected will be given to The Shalom Center of Kenosha.

In addition to Rustic Road and the Tavern on 6th, participating venues are Hold My Beer, The Apis Hotel & Restaurant, PUBLIC Craft Brewing Co., and Church and Market. Each establishment will have a different special drink for the occasion, and each is planning a different activity. There will also be a general scavenger hunt, and an after party at Rustic Road, featuring Ivy Ford.

Rowdy Rudolph’s Six Bars of Christmas Holiday Bar Crawl is scheduled for December 10. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and above. Organizers remind participants they do not condone drinking and driving, or underage drinking. They can also use flyer printing to create maps of the participating venues for those attending the event.
