Renaissance Faire coming soon

The Bristol Renaissance Faire will be returning to Kenosha in July.

The event, which will turn back time to 1574, will be replete with faeries, wenches, rogues ruffians, kings, and queens all paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth I herself.

Renquest will be returning. This is a theatrical interactive gaming experience that will give players insights into Renaissance fantasy through skills, over 60 quest options, and monster slayings. Prizes will include leather Journals, hand-blown glass goblets, limited edition artwork and the Grand Champion with be featured in the custom fantasy portrait that will be quickly printed by local printing services. Tickets will be $10 per day.

Kids from ages 4 to 10 will also get their own 20-to-30 minute quests with Puss in Boots, a pirate crew, and Sinbad the Sailor. Their adventures will start at the Hobbity House in the Kids’ Kingdom.

Each weekend will feature a theme such as Swashbuckler Weekend, Marketplace, Rencon, Monster and Magic, Steampunk Invasion, Royals and Rogues, Military Appreciation, Scouts, and heroes and villains.

Adult single day tickets are $25.95 and kids’ (ages 5-12) tickets will be $11.50. On July 11 and 12, kids under 13 years old can get in free with an adult.

Bristol Renaissance Faire will start at 10:00 am Saturday, July 11 and run until Monday, September 7 at 7:00 pm at 12550 120th Avenue.
