Planning for a big event in Kenosha

A meeting in Kenosha will lay the groundwork for an event later this year.

Organizers are urging anyone interesting in doing so to bring their neighbors, co-workers, family, and friends with them to a meeting that will start laying the foundation and generating interest in the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's® - Kenosha & Racine Counties.

There will be light appetizers provided at the meeting and attendees will receive a single drink ticket each. The idea of this pre-event meeting is to familiarize people who have not taken part in the Walk to learn more about it, as it is the largest fundraiser for dementia and Alzheimer's causes in the world. The Walk, which takes place later this year, is to support anyone in Racine and Kenosha Counties dealing with these devastating illnesses. As such, it requires planning, logistics, and volunteers to make it run smoothly and bring in as much revenue as possible.

Meeting organizers will provide a great deal of information about the 2023 Walk, and encourage even people who already have their tickets to the Walk to come to this event. They can provide this information and details by using flyer printing to create handouts for meeting attendees.

The meeting is planned for June 28, from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm, at the Card Room in the Stella Hotel and Ballroom, located at 5706 8th Avenue in Kenosha.
