Music series resumes in Kenosha

One of the most popular events in Kenosha is returning soon.

The Twilight Jazz Summer Concert Series features jazz bands from the local area, who play at the Anderson Arts Center on the Lake Michigan shore. The concerts are outdoors on the lawn, so attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and make themselves comfortable. The lawn is on the south side of the center, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers of events taking place outdoors can use banner printing to provide directional signage for audience members.

Audiences may not bring alcohol to the venue, but a full bar will be on site. The Kemper Center will provide charcuterie Boxes, and a different food truck will attend each concert.

The series begins with the John Crawford Band, with food from Olano’s Empanadas Food Truck. The second concert features the Ivy Ford Band, with the Nacho Queen Food Truck providing the goodies. The third evening, the band will be the Street Jaxson Band, with food courtesy of Big Head Taco’s Food Truck. Yesterday’s Children are up next, with Hydn Cheese Food Truck, and the season ends with Dave Sturino & Friends, along with the Nacho Queen Food Truck.

There dates for the five concerts are June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9, and August 23, all running from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Admission is free, but donations will go to support the Arts Center and the Kemper Center.
