Fun event welcomes fall to Kenosha

Kenosha will welcome autumn with a day of fun.

The 3rd Annual Fall Fest features bounce houses, a Family Bags competition, a beer tent, food trucks, live music, and more. The day starts at 11.00 am, when the children’s bounce houses, community vendors, community raffle, and Family Bags competition starts.

DJ the Magician will perform slight-of-hand, and at noon, Miracle Field will be the place to be to watch the Miracle League Showcase game, which is open to children of all abilities.

Live entertainment artists this year are Stu the Piano Guy, Ivy Ford, ThisisClarissa, and Now and Then. Stu is Michael “Stu” Stoinski, who was raised in the North Chicago suburbs and began playing the piano when he was eight. He studied classical piano to begin, but was more drawn to pop and contemporary music, and is now an in-demand entertainer throughout the Chicagoland area.

Ivy Ford is a guitarist and blues singer who may be found leading a band or performing as a solo act. Soul singer ThisisClarissa is from the UK, and began her career in the Middle East, performed internationally, and is now based in Chicago. Finally, Now and Then is a cover band from the local area.

Food will be available from food trucks, including Tacos 911 Taco Truck, Pawlies Diner, and Soul Delicious Egg Rolls.

The fall festival is set for Saturday October 7, at the Kenosha YMCA on 53rd Street. Organizers of events like this can promote them by using poster printing to create advertising.
