Foodies rejoice as Kenosha announces Restaurant Week

One of Kenosha’s most popular events is returning this year.

Kenosha Restaurant Week is held annually and is a nine-day party celebrating the city’s exceptional dining options. Everyone is encouraged to take part in order to bring some business to locally owned food shops, eateries, pubs, and small restaurants rather than buying fast food or eating at a national chain. Restaurant Week also gives diners the chance to try places they haven’t been before, go back to a restaurant they love, or just show local restaurants some support.

Participating establishments are devising special Menus for Restaurant Week, mostly, though not always, offering lower pricing. The specials depend on the restaurant. Most offer specials on dine-in meals, as well as dinner, carry-out, and lunch. Several are offering specials on dine-in meals only, while others have specials only on brunch or breakfast. A few are taking reservations, accepting gift cards, or offering curbside service, and several have take-and-bake options, delivery, or dessert specials. Anyone who wants to know what a particular restaurant is offering should check with the establishment.

Fifty one restaurants are already committed to the event, with more expected to join. Among the participants are Tuscany Bistro Bar & Grill, Ono, and Anna’s on the Lake.

Kenosha Restaurant Week kicks off February 24 and ends March 3. Organizers of events like this will often work with flyer printing companies to create maps to the participating venues.
