The Lipizzan Stallions will be featured in two events during February, delighting local horse lovers.
The first event will be on February 13 and is called “How a Lipizzan Stallion Learns to Dance.” Only a few feet away, Kenosha guests will witness highly skilled professional trainers working with stallions as the white beauties train in dressage. The event will be held in an open-air indoor arena, so attendees need to dress for the weather.
The session will begin at 10:00 am and tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children from ages four to fourteen. These tickets can be purchased at the event website until event day.
How a Lipizzan Stallion Learns to Dance will be at Tempe Farms, 17000 Wadsworth Road, Old Mill Creek, Illinois.
A Highlight Performance Show of the Lipizzan Stallions will be later in the month. The performance will be divided into three segments. The Quadrille, Solo, and the Airs Above the Ground will all be accompanied by classical music.
Although heat lamps are situated above the stands, guests are encouraged to dress warmly and wear walking shoes. Adult tickets will be $35 and children’s tickets will be $25.
The Highlight Performance will take place Saturday, February 27 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Tempel Farms. Door opens one half hour before the shows start.
