The 15th Annual YWCA Rock County CARE House Open will take place here in Janesville in a week’s time.
The golf event format will be an 18 Hole Best Ball Scramble where registration will start at 10:00 am. Individual tickets will be $125, and foursomes will be $475. Both kinds of tickets can be purchased online at the event’s website. Enhanced Foursome tickets, foursome plus a hole sponsorship, will be $550. A $50 tour card include two mulligans (second attempts at a stroke), three games, beverages on the course, and chances to win prizes and more mulligans.
A grab-and-go brat lunch will be available after registration and golf will start at 11:30 am. Awards will be presented after play, followed by a BBQ dinner and live auction.
Proceeds will go to the YWCA CARE House, an organization the provides compassionate and professional care for children who have been neglected or abused.
Organizations holding golfing events like this one often have pictures taken during the event. These photos often are taken to local Print shops to be included in the community outreach information for the organization’s future fund drives.
The golfing event will take place June 10 from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm at the Glen Erin Golf Club and Cursing Stone Pub located at 1417 W. Airport Road.
