Janesville's annual Jolly Jingle returns

The 12th annual Janesville's Jolly Jiggle will be returning to downtown Janesville in early December.

Festivities will begin Friday, December 5th with a Jingle Bell Hunt for children under 12. This will take place in Courthouse Park, 51 S. Main Street, and will have kids scrambling for bells and prizes. This activity will be free and take place at 5:30 pm right before the tree lighting ceremony. The Jingle Tree will be lit at 6:00 pm at the Marvin W. Roth Community Pavilion.

Jingle on the Square will be taking place on the same day between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm at 21 Dodge Street at Town Square and BHCCU Festival Street. A local DJ will be spinning seasonal tunes for the light-up holiday dance party.

Ending the evening will be Jingle Boom- a free holiday fireworks show beginning at 6:45 pm at Library Park, 316 S. Main Street.

The next evening Saturday, December 6th Josleyn Transport will be hosting a Holiday Lighted Parade through downtown Janesville. Lighted floats, animals, walking units, vehicles and marching groups will march on N. Jackson Street and proceed south. They will turn east on Milwaukee and then south on Main Street. The parade will disband on Racine Street.

Organizers of annual events like these often have printing services Print duplicate photos taken during the festivities for participating sponsors and guests.

The Holiday Lighted Parade will take place beginning at 6:00 pm.
