In order to celebrate Independence Day, the Rock Aqua Jays waterski show team will be putting on a performance this weekend.
During the show, the professional team will execute jumps, pyramids, and other stunts. Guests can also enjoy live music and a beer garden. In addition, kids can have fun on various inflatables. Another highlight is the ‘Anything that Floats’ contest. Refreshments will be available for purchase and, at night, there will be a firework show to light up the sky.
The Rock Aqua Jays have won many championships and also host several waterski tournaments. As a nonprofit organization, the team receives funds through donations, fundraising, advertising, and other methods. For this reason, while the Independence Day show is free, donations are gladly received.
The 4th of July event will take place at RAJ stadium at Traxler Park. The 27-acre facility has gardens, fishing, sand volleyball, restrooms, and many other amenities. Along with water sports, there is also sometimes an ice rink. Some of the beautiful facilities are available for reservation.
The event is a big one for Janesville. Local printing companies have probably been busy creating promotional materials for sponsors. A vivid banner is an inexpensive way for businesses to advertise.
The event begins on July 4 at 1:30 pm. Traxler Park is located on 600 North Main Street.
