Three Janesville Christmas-themed events will occur on the same weekend toward the end of November.
Over 1.5 million sparkling lights will illuminate the path and displays at Rotary Botanical Gardens, 1455 Palmer Drive during their Holiday Light Show. Admission will be $12 for adults and children over 13 years old; $5 for children from 3 years old to 12 years old.
The show’s opening day will be from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday November 24th. Other dates will be November 26, November 30th, and December 1st to 3rd, 7th to 10th, 14th to 23rd and 26th to the 30th.
The Rock County Historical Society, 426 N. Jackson Street, will have their free Holiday Tree Show-Outside Edition opening on the same evening. Guests may stroll or drive around the campus enjoying the 30 decorated and lighted trees.
The Rock County Historical Society campus will be open 24 hours daily from November 24th through December 30th.
The Society will also offer self-guided Lincoln-Tallman House tours where local businesses have created over 130 handmade decorations and trees. Tickets will be $10 per adult and $5 for children 10 and under.
The mansion will be open Thursdays through Sundays, November 25th through December 30th. On Thursdays and Fridays, hours will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:00 pm.
