The Fright Factory opens soon

Halloween would not be complete without a walk through the Fright Factory. The event will be opening in a few days, and there will be no need for locals to mark their Calendars, because the haunted house will operate on the rest of the weekends throughout October.

This experience is not for the faint of heart or young children, and is geared for teens at least 13 years old and adults. This will be the Halloween attraction’s 25th year.

New technologies and continued creativity have helped this Halloween experience become more intense and spooky over the years. Zombies, ghouls, ghosts, butchers, monsters, and a crazy old school “marm” are eagerly waiting to eat, or rather greet, guests in this year’s extreme haunted house.

The queue will be long and hopefully the wait will be only 30 to 45 minutes. Thankfully, the old factory has an interior waiting area and lots of free parking.

There will be an $11 admission fee, but for those guests who want to get to the front of the line quickly, $16 Fast Fright Passes will be available.

Proceeds from the event, as in years past, will go to benefit the Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team.

The event’s opening night will be this Friday, October 7. Other dates will be October 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29. On Thursday, October 27 there will be a special haunting from 7:00 to 10:30 pm. The Fright Factory is located at 1405 Riverside Street here in Janesville.
