Janesville's Skelly's Corn Maze & Fall Festival's opening day will come in late August.
Guests will want to remember to bring their smartphones so they can use their GPS-enabled maze map to navigate the two new corn mazes - the six-acre Adventure and the nine-acre Impossible Maze.
The venue offers a playground and special activities, many of which will be free. Pricing for the non-free activities will remain the same as last year. Some of these activities will include pumpkin picking from the venue's 20-acre pumpkin patch for $0.45 per pound, and $10 per person for the corn maze. Each of the two mazes offers interactive adventures. The $6.50 Choose-Your-Farm-Adventure 20-minute wagon ride will have the wagon passengers voting for changes in Farmer Jack's adventure. Weekend visitors may enjoy firing the apple cannon, and can have 10 shots for $6.
In mid-September, $12 wagon ride/corn mazes combo tickets will allow ticketholders two adventures and unlimited romps through the mazes and trips on the wagon. An all-inclusive $28 Adventure pass will allow guests unlimited access to the wagon rides, 10 apple cannon shots, and any size of pumpkin. Meanwhile, the Fall Bakery will have homemade goodies available for purchase.
Families like to take pictures of their little ones enjoying fall activities and take the photos to nearby Print shops to be added to family Calendars and newsletters.
Skelly's Corn Maze and Fall Festival will open August 31 and close on October 31st at day's end. Its hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
