Janesville welcomes Halloween season with freaky forest

Janesville will get 10 days of terror at the 2019 Forest of Freaks coming on Fridays and Saturdays starting October 4. The experience is not recommended for children under the age of 13.

The site will be a haunted forest where guests will choose their own paths on trails filled with scary clowns, monsters, and special effects. Each trip takes about an hour.

Some other activities include Shoot-A-Freak and carnival games. A photo booth will be available for those wishing to have souvenirs to remember this fright night. Families that enjoy these kinds of pictures like to take Copies to their local Stationery printers to be made into personalized stationery or for the October picture for their family Calendars.

While waiting for their entrance to the forest, guests can enjoy concessions such as popcorn and hot apple cider, a bonfire, and live music. The event organizers warn guests to dress for the weather. General admission will be $13 and the Speedpass will cost $18.

The 2019 Freak Forest is located at The Edge Paintball & Airsoft, 5946 US Hwy 51 South, just across the street from Blackhawk Technical College. Hours will be 8:00 pm until 11:30 pm. The event will also be open Thursday, October 31 for Halloween night, before the closing date of November 1.
