Janesville to raise the chill factor

Janesville is about to become a little bit scarier, because Fright Factory Haunted House will soon be opening its doors.

Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show produces the event, which began as a haunted hayride in the country and then slowly made its way into the city. Since then, the event has grown in popularity and, during busy times, general tickets holders may have to wait 30 to 45 minutes before entering the haunted house.

Once inside, guests will be treated to frights around every corner. Organizers point out that this experience is targeted towards teens and adults. Due to frightening images, young children should not attend. Pregnant women and anyone with high blood pressure or other health conditions should also exercise caution. Guests can expect loud noises, bright lights, scary images, and fog.

A flyer printing service has no doubt created promotional handouts for the event. These can easily be distributed to residents in Janesville.

Admission is $13 per person. To go to the front of the line, individuals may want to buy the $18 Fast Fright Pass. Refunds will not be given.

The Fright Factory will begin scaring people on Friday and Saturday nights from October 10 until November 1. The doors open at 7:00 pm. It is located in the Old Panoramic Building on 1405 Riverside Drive.
