Two New Year's Eve events have been scheduled for revelers here in Janesville.
The earliest one will be for the whole family and for those not wishing to stay up to welcome in the New Year at midnight. Noon Year's Eve Celebration will ring in the New Year about 12 hours early with a countdown, a cider toast and a balloon drop at noon.
Everyone may make their own party hats and noisemakers, have their pictures taken at a festive photo booth and do a little cookie decorating. Children will receive goodie Bags.
Families that attend Noon Year’s Eve events like this often take the pictures snapped at the event to local Print shops to become pictures for family Calendars or cards.
Although the event will be free, reservations are required.
This year's Noon Year's Eve Party will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bodacious Shops of Block 42, 119 North Main Street on Tuesday, December 31st.
Janesville Moose Lodge 197 will celebrate the New Year with a Moose Murder Mystery Dinner.
Social time will begin at 5:00 pm followed by the murder mystery beginning at 5:30 pm. A pork chop dinner will begin at 6:00 pm with a New Year Toast at 10:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.
Tickets are $25 each.
Murder at the Moose will take place Tuesday, December 31st beginning at 5:00 pm at 418 West Milwaukee Street.
