This month, the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville will provide the venue for two spring events.
The first is an Easter Brunch, where guests can enjoy a buffet with a wide array of hot and cold foods, along with floral centerpieces. Best Events Catering will be hosting the event. Kids under 10 may attend for $12.95, while adults cost $26.95. Little ones under three are free.
Later in the month, locals can visit the botanical gardens for ‘Wild Earth Days’, which will put an emphasis on animal habitats and adaptations. There will be games, garden activities, and educational projects. Admission costs $1 for adults and $2 for kids between the ages of 3 and 15.
During this event, guests can enjoy a traveling zoo with reptiles, amphibians, birds, and cockroaches. Shows have limited seating. Between performances, the educational show will allow attendees to get up close to animals and learn more about them.
At both events, attendees can walk around the garden grounds, including the gazebo, Japanese, formal rose, and sunken gardens. No doubt a poster printing service has made promotional materials for both events.
On April 5, the Easter Brunch will have three seatings at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm. The Earth Day event will be held on April 25 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
The Rotary Botanical Garden is located on 1455 Palmer Drive.
