The Ugly Sweater, Run, Walk and Roll is coming to Janesville. Participants can put on their ugliest sweater, don their craziest hairstyle, and have fun at this un-timed run and walk. The course is an easy 2.5-mile loop with water and aid stations along the way.
Before the race begins, there will be awards for the ugliest sweater in the following divisions: youth, individual, and team or families. After the race, participants will be given water, snacks, and hot chocolate.
Registration costs $20 for adults, aged 14 and older, and $10 for youths between 8 and 13. Kids under 8 are free and teams of 4 cost $70. Registration includes a special gift.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the People Can’t Wait Fund, a non-profit organization that helps adults with disabilities when they have a lapse in their services.
Direct Mail printing was likely used to inform the Janesville community about this event. Postcards or Flyers are an inexpensive option to use.
The main event will begin on November 7 at 9:00 am. Race day check-in and registration starts at 8:00 am and awards for the ugliest sweater winners will be presented at 8:45 am.
It all takes place on the Riverfront at 1107 Barberry Drive.
