Over 750,000 colored lights will be ablaze for the upcoming Rotary Botanical Gardens 2019 Holiday Light Show, beginning at the end of November.
This will be an approximately 25 to 35 minute outside walking tour that will allow guests to take their time enjoying the lights and displays. Luminaries will light the gravel path.
Santa will be available for photos on designated nights. Parents that take their little ones to this event often bring their own cameras to get shots with Santa or at any of the selfie-stops along the path. These pictures can be taken to local printing services in order to make Copies to be included in their Holiday Cards.
On selected nights, the Cottage Garden Gallery will feature live music, entertainment and a local artists’ market. Steve’s Deli Dog have will have treats, hot cocoa, cider, and other warm food items to help guests warm up after their walk.
Free shuttle service will be available daily from Dawson Field, 920 Beloit Avenue.
The Light Show will be open to the public for 21 days starting on November 29 at the Rotary Botanical Gardens, 1455 Palmer Drive. The event will open daily at 4:30 pm and close at 8:30 pm. Guests who attend this event on weekends can expect large crowds and wait times. The event will be closed December 2, 10, and 17.
