Janesville’s Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin (HSSW) will be holding its 1st Annual Bags and Wags cornhole tournament in mid-June.
The HSSW will be presenting the inaugural event with Sammy’s Hilltop. Teams will be in pairs, tickets are $60 per team, and are available at the event’s website. Pre-registration is encouraged and comes with event T-shirts sporting the first ever Bags and Wags Cornhole Tournament graphic design, drink chips, and up to $400 cash prizes.
Even if not interested in competing, guests are still invited to attend the event and join in the Mystery Wagon Raffle. Prizes will amount to over $500. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, drinks, and food. Leashed well-mannered dogs are more than welcome.
Charities that hold competitions like this often have pictures taken of the winners. These photos often go to nearby Print shops to be added to future information materials such as Posters, Invitations to other events, and newsletters.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides shelter and care to homeless pets, reunites pets with their owners, promotes adoption to good homes, and educates the community in responsible pet guardianship.
