Those here in Janesville looking to celebrate the new year can choose one of at least four venues.
Buckhorn Supper Club, 11802 N Charley Bluff Road, Milton, will begin its New Year’s celebration a little early (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm). LUDY and his Lady Nicole will be hosting. Specialty entrees will include Portabella Mushroom appetizers and beef stroganoff.
Bogey’s, 1700 N Washington Street, will begin their NYE DJ Bash at 9:00 pm, Sunday December 31st. A champagne toast has been scheduled for midnight, and the bar will close around 1:00 am, January 1st, 2024.
The Back Bar, 1901 Beloit Avenue will feature six popular local bands (In the Hour, Creation Denied, Modifire, Left of Reason, F.A.T.E. and Revolution-X), doors open at 6:00 pm, music starts at 8:00 pm, and tickets will be available for $18 ($15 in advance on-line, and $20 for reserved seating).
For revelers looking for something more up-scale, Holiday Inn Express/ Janesville Conference Center, 3100 Wellington Place, will hold a News Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball. Prizes will be awarded for interesting masks every hour with a grand prize going to the Best Masquerade Mask. Appetizers, and champagne will be served at midnight. DJ Reese will emcee the evening and provide music for dancing.
Tickets will be $53 for couples, and $32 for individuals.
