This weekend, the Janesville Renaissance Faire comes back to town, offering locals a chance to watch the various performers interact with each other, as well as enjoy a shopping opportunity across several vendor booths.

This year, the Renaissance Faire will provide two days of fun for guests, and is a fundraiser with the proceeds going to support the local community groups, as well as the scholarships that are being provided to high-achieving students.
Throughout the fair, guests can enjoy performance art, meet food vendors offering a wide selection of cuisine, and support the groups in the area that receive funding through this event. A cannon fire, fire juggling, and children’s crafts and games will keep attendees entertained. Non-perishable donations will be accepted and provide $1 off the admission price of an adult ticket.
Admission to the fair is $7 per adult, $5 for children aged 5 to 12, and children younger than five years old are admitted free. The Janesville Renaissance Faire will be taking place this Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Traxler Park located at 600 N. Main Street.
