Kids Building Wisconsin is a free and fun upcoming event with the goal of getting kids in the area interested in the number of exciting career options available to them in the construction business.
More than 40 exhibits have been booked for the day. Each one of them will be operated by local traders, organizations, and professionals in the construction industry. All the exhibits will be educational, interactive, and fun. Other activities the kids can enjoy include building their own toolboxes, playing in a giant sandpit, and virtual reality. Vendors like to use poster printing at any events with booths.
The event is free, although people are required to register in order to attend, because Kids Building Wisconsin involves big construction equipment and some of the activities come with a degree of risk. Pre-registration is not mandatory as it can be done on the day, but it is recommended.
Attendees should note that parking space will be limited, as the City of Fitchburg will not allow parking on the street so that emergency services are not impeded. Additional parking can be located off site at the Tri-North Builders, Fitchburg City Hall, and CDW.
Kids Building Wisconsin is scheduled to start at 9:00 am on May 14. The booths will be spread out across the McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg.
