Puzzle competition challenges Fitchburg

Puzzle enthusiasts will have an opportunity to test their speed and teamwork this summer during a competitive jigsaw event scheduled at Delta Beer Lab in Fitchburg.

Organized by Sarah Does Puzzles–Wisconsin, the contest will feature a unique challenge centered on a 500-piece puzzle inspired by the life and legacy of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG).

Participants will compete in teams of two, with each pair receiving an identical puzzle hidden from view until the official start. Once the countdown begins, competitors will open their packages and race to assemble the image as quickly as possible. Event officials will track completion times and determine the winning teams. Awards will be presented to the fastest finishers, and additional prize drawings are planned throughout the evening.

The event will begin with an optional social hour that allows guests to practice on sample puzzles before the timed competition. Attendees may enjoy refreshments while preparing for the main challenge. After completing their assigned puzzle, participants may remain at the venue to continue puzzling and socialize with fellow competitors.

Contest guidelines permit food and beverages at the table, along with sorting trays, box-top stands, and battery-powered lighting.

Registration is priced at $40 per pair.

Organizers of competitions such as this one often work with printing services to produce promotional materials, score sheets, and event Posters.

The RBG Challenge Pairs Jigsaw Puzzle Contest will take place on Thursday, August 20th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, at Delta Beer Lab, 167 East Badger Rd, Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
