Fitchburg to host black women yoga event

Dragonfly Hot Yoga and the Progress Center for Black Women have teamed up to host another "Just Flow Yoga" event.

Dragonfly Hot Yoga fosters inclusivity, offering supportive yoga spaces for all. Founder Megan Tucker emphasizes mindfulness, personal growth, and community through welcoming studios and diverse, skilled instructors.

The Progress Center for Black Women, founded by Sabrina Madison is dedicated to supporting black families and women in Dane County, offering coworking spaces and diverse programming.

This event is part of a series of inclusive yoga sessions for individuals who define themselves as Black, individuals of color, or Indigenous.

Led by Keena Atkinson, the Mindful Movement Ambassador for the Progress Center, the sessions are designed to promote wellness and mindfulness in a supportive environment. Participants are advised to wear light, comfortable attire for this hot yoga practice. They are also encouraged to bring a towel and water bottle, though mats and towels will be available on-site.

Attendees of this event will also gain insight from Sabrina Madison, who will discuss the partnership with Dragonfly Hot Yoga and the ways it can help individuals achieve their wellness and health goals.
