Fitchburg mixes racing with revelry

Fitchburg will celebrate running, beer, and community this September when the 3 Sheeps Beer Run takes over Seminole Tap.

The event will feature three options: a timed 5K, a playful 0.05K, and an adults-only beer-and-laps challenge. Each race offers post-finish festivities with music and casual lawn games.

Entry fees are $40 for the 5K, $30 for the 0.05K, and $40 for the beer challenge. Rates rise after August 31. Start times are staggered; the 5K begins at 9:00 am and concludes by noon, the 0.05K starts at 9:10 am and ends at noon, and the beer event starts at 10:00 am and wraps up by 1:00 pm. Participants in the beer race complete four quarter-mile circuits, drinking a 12-ounce can before each lap.

Registration includes an event shirt, official bib, finisher medal, and a post-race pint for finishers over 21 in the 5K and 0.05K. Live music, yard games, and an energetic viewing scene for the beer race will round out the program. Every registrant will receive a complimentary three-month Craftapped membership, with redemption details delivered in the confirmation email.

Flyer printing remains a straightforward and effective way to reach neighbors, share essential details, and grow the participants for events such as this one.

The event will be Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at Seminole Tap, 5956 Executive Drive, Fitchburg.
