Fitchburg farm hosts inaugural festival

A local farm is inviting people to its first-ever tasting festival, which will be a celebration of hops and local brews.

The Hop Festival & Beer Tasting at Four Winds Farm promises a day full of local breweries, tasty food, and live music. This event is designed to give attendees an experience that honors the best in nearby brewing skills.

Beers on show will be from Four Winds Farm and other local breweries. Every brewery has its own booth where people can try from a range and discover their new favorite. The special beer makers participating in this event include Great Dane, New Glarus, Working Draft, Delta Beer Lab, Karben4 G Five, Hillsboro Brewing Co., New Barons, Tumbled Rock, and Hop Garden. Exhibitors at booths often use banner printing to make them unique.

Those at the event will be given a special tasting glass for trying the brews, and they can go home with it. Food can be bought from eateries like Cinn City Smash and Common Pasta.

The event is limited to people who are 21 years old or older, and attendees cannot bring any outside alcohol onto the property. Tickets are also available for designated drivers, but can only be bought along with a regular ticket.

The Hop Festival & Beer Tasting Festival will be held on Sunday, August 4 at Four Winds Farm in Fitchburg.
