Speed athletes in Fitchburg will get the opportunity to congregate and talk shop at a summer event.
The Fitchburg Festival of Speed envisions combining sports events with live entertainment and active community participation.
The festival has many activities related to speed, such as bike races and running contests. These races attract athletes from different places who want to compete in events like the Fitchburg Family Pharmacy 25-Mile Bike Ride, a 5K run/walk, and kids' fun run. The diverse range of these events guarantees involvement for all age groups and fitness capacities, creating a setting that is inclusive and lively.
There is also a schedule of live music shows at this festival. The entertainment begins at 2:00 PM with Michael Alexander and Big Whiskey, then it is time for Frank and the Names to take over before SuperTuesday goes on stage from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
