Organisers have announced that the Tall Tales Music Festival is to return for a second year, albeit in a slightly different guise than last year.
Known in 2013 as Coffee House Rock! the cultural music and story festival is being presented by Run Run Bebop and The Coffee House.
As well as featuring the best talent from across the state, the festival will also welcome many national artists as part of their tours. A completely free family event, there will also be activities and workshops for children to take part in throughout the two-days.
The line-up of many of the performing artists has already been confirmed, with poster printing headlining Cory Chisel’s Soul Obscura.
Posters and Flyers will also feature the likes of Andrew Combs, Amanda Shires, and Los Colognes of Nashville and Los Angeles trio Garrison Starr, Maia Sharp, and Adrianne Gonzalez. Two popular Wisconsin artists have also been confirmed, with the talented band Count This Penny and solo-artist Kalispell (Shane Leonard) taking to the stage.
With further acts confirmed through July, a good dancing crowd is expected for the August 22-23 event.
It takes place at The Coffee House located at Chestnut & Pine, 492 N. Pine Street in the heart of downtown Burlington.
