Best Bargain Inc. has formed a partnership with McCain Foods to put together and donate vital supplies to facilities and buildings in Burlington that are finding it difficult to cope with the effects of COVID-19.
The initiative has been named “McCain Cares” and the company will be working closely with its other local partners to make it happen.
Corporate Gifts and donations like this are great for the community. Doug Helnore, the man who owns Best Bargains, commented to say:
“During this uncertain time, we all need to come together and do what we can to lift each other up. We just want to do our part to ensure that some of our local community-driven businesses know that we are all in this together.”
Helnore and Mysti Haager, who is the director of marketing, made trips to nursing facilities and restaurants in the area to see how they could help out. The restaurants they visited were given several Boxes of McCain’s fries weighing 30lb each. The partnership between McCain and Best Bargain also donated 2,000 surgical masks to several nursing facilities located in Waterford and Burlington.
The list of businesses that received the donations include Flippy’s Fast Food, Pine Brook Point, John’s Main Events, Bubba’s Brickyard, The Bay at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Arbor View and Oak Place, and Watford Senior Living.
