Just as is the case with adults, children can suffer greatly from anxiety, and a free workshop is being offered to families from Burlington and the surrounding areas that will give them tools they can use to help their child.
The session, which has been organized through the cooperation of NAMI Racine County, the Burlington Area School District and Clinical Psychology Associates, will explain anxiety in the context of a child, and will also teach coping strategies that the attendees can pass along to their son or daughter. According to the event’s listing, much of the focus will be on non-medical methods for dealing with this issue.
Once the presentation is complete, both Dr. Taylor and Dr. Langley will be on hand to answer questions that have been submitted ahead of time by those who will be attending. This will allow them time to prepare adequate answers that can be helpful for the parent who expressed the concern. Digital copying can be used to make Copies of any handouts or other material for each person who participates in a workshop such as this.
The workshop will be held on April 4, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in conference rooms B and C of the Aurora Wellness Center. Anyone who would like to register, submit a question or find out more is asked to visit the event’s website.Get a Free Quote for Copies
