Reading is an essential skill that not every child excels at, and a Burlington workshop has been planned that will give parents tips and ideas about how they can help their son or daughter improve their literacy skills.
The session, which is intended for those with children who are age eight or younger, will help parents learn how they can raise a reader. The class will cover an assortment of topics, including why it is important to read to one’s son or daughter, how to choose Books that are both interesting to their child and age appropriate, and also how they can find books to add to their home’s bookshelf for free or at a very low cost.
Along with the discussion, there will also be time for the attendees to ask the facilitator any questions they may have about helping their child’s literacy skills grow and develop.
