Downtown Burlington is set to help beat the winter cold with an event that will help keep the community toasty warm.
Welcoming the Hot Cocoa Walk, Downtown Burlington will show some love to local small businesses. This will include a friendly competition to see if one of the participants can unseat Hansen's Ice Cream as this year's Hot Cocoa Walk Champion, a position it has held for three years.
The organizers of this free event have invited young and old alike to visit various establishments in Burlington’s Downtown, and at each participating location, they can sip on a sample of its own special hot chocolate recipe. Taster scorecards will be available for pickup at all of the venues, and the participants can use those to cast their vote. At least 11 companies have already signed on, and more are expected to join the fun.
To thank the public for their support of the initiative, the organizers explained that those who vote will have their name entered in a draw for a big Nestle Gift Basket. Corporate Gifts to offer as a prize can be prepared by a printer, and its in-house team can prepare a custom graphic design to include.
Burlington will be hosting its 2025 Hot Cocoa Walk on February 15th. Everyone is welcome to drop by between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm for this touch of warmth on a chilly winter day.
