This spring, Burlington will play host to a morning of activities in support of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation.
The day will include an assortment of fun for both young and old alike. A petting zoo will set up for the morning, and there will also be a balloon artist, jugglers, carnival games, plate twirling, fun photos, and inflatables.
Along with all of this, a parade for cancer survivors will take place, as well as a release of balloons to honor those who were not able to win their battle with the disease. These can be purchased at a price of $5 each or three for $10. Food will also be available for purchase on site, and the organizers of a day such as this can use customized business Forms to help make sure it all goes smoothly.
Those who make an appearance at Carnival for a Cure will be able to purchase wristbands for the petting zoo and inflatables, as well as tickets for the carnival. The monies collected will be donated to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, and will remain in the local community.
The festivities have been planned for May 7th at the Aurora Health Center, starting at 10:00 am. Further information, as well as a list of local sponsors and details about the organization, can be found on the Burlington Chamber of Commerce's website.
