This Independence Day, residents of Burlington will be able to enjoy a fun-filled day in support of their local firefighters, and the excitement of the day will continue even after the sun goes down.
Echo Park will serve as the location for the first part of the day, and those who attend will be able to take part in activities such as the bag toss contest, and in the early evening, Lunchmoney Bullies will be taking to the stage to perform live for the crowd.
Once dusk arrives, it will be time to light up the darkening sky with a huge fireworks show. The Chocolatefest grounds will serve as the venue for this portion of the event. During this aerial display, the band will take a break, and will then resume playing until 11:00 pm. Both beer and nonalcoholic beverages, as well as treats such as popcorn, will be available for purchase by anyone who is in the mood for a snack. Along with all of this, there will be a raffle. Digital copying can be used to produce large numbers of tickets and other items that can help to make sure that a function such as this goes off without a hitch.
This Fourth of July fun is open to people of any age, and all are welcome. It will be split between the Chocolatefest grounds and Echo Park. More information has been made available on the Burlington Chamber of Commerce’s website.
