Those who love the taste of chocolate are invited to come to Burlington for an annual festival that celebrates this sweet treat.
The 30th anniversary of Chocolatefest will feature a variety of activities that center on this well-loved candy. There will be cooking demonstrations, samples to try, chocolate eating contests, a carnival, a Memorial Day Parade, a bike ride, and fireworks. Along with providing those who take part with a fun experience, a portion of the proceeds from the weekend will be used to help support local and national not-for-profit groups.
Both vendors and sponsors are being sought for the event. Last year, more than 35,000 people came out to enjoy the festival, and this year, the numbers could go even higher. This provides an opportunity for local businesses to reach a wide base of potential customers and show they care about their local community.
Tickets for the festival, which will run from May 27th to May 30th, can be purchased both online and at the gate.
