Burlington schedules summer fun

Burlington is celebrating summer with a series of events that will showcase the city’s festive side, and everyone is on the guestlist to join in the fun.

The community's Summer Stroll Thursday program is in full swing, and the excitement will keep on going until it wraps up in September. Each installment, which will be hosted at Wehmhoff Square Park, will have its own agenda, and they all include live entertainment.

The Farmers' Market area will make it easy for the public to purchase produce and other items from the local area. Food will be available, and the Loop will be open for climbing. Many of the shops surrounding the park will have extended opening hours, and the adults can enjoy activities planned just for them such as karaoke, trivia, and a chance to play a round in a golf simulator.

Summer is a time when many communities schedule outdoor activities such as festivals, carnivals, and pop-up markets. Canopies, sunshades, backdrops, drapes, and other reusable decor can attract the attention of shoppers, and they can be prepared by a local printing services company.

Burlington’s schedule of Summer Stroll Thursdays runs began on May 29 and continues until September 25, so the next one will be this Thursday, June 12. A full listing of what is in store for each installment, including timings, can be found on the Experience Burlington website.
