Zombies have been spotted heading towards the Burlington area, but there is no need to worry as they will be part of a special event that will be held in support of Big Foot Beach State Park.
Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park have organized the Lake Geneva Zombie Run, and all are welcome. Those who would prefer a tamer experience can opt to walk the lighted trail with their family as the sun sets, and half of the proceeds from these activities will be donated directly to the park.
Those who wish to participate in the Zombie Run are encouraged to dress in their favorite undead attire, and prizes will be awarded for the best costume as well as the first place finishers in the men’s and women’s categories. A raffle is also on the agenda, and there will be lots of other fun to be had as well.
The race is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm, and check-in begins at 3:30 pm. Race bibs, Banners, signage, award certificates, custom designed T-Shirts, and lanyards are just a few of the items that can be produced by a printing services company for an event like this.
October 6 will be the date for this combination of fun and fundraising. It will be held at 1550 South Lake Shore Drive in Lake Geneva.
