A Burlington historical site is preparing for the public to take a step back in time, and one of its activities will explore some of the cookery techniques common in days gone by.
The farm-to-table dinner taking place at Old Buffalo Ranch will be served al fresco, and it will provide a sneak peek into how the food grown on farms makes it from the field to their plate. It will include a visit with the site’s resident Red Angus beef cattle, and the meal will be prepared over an open fire. Many of the produce items used will be either forged or locally grown, and a smoked salmon substitute will be available for anyone who does not eat red meat.
An outdoor meal can be made to feel just as sumptuous as one served indoors with assistance from area Stationery printers. They will be happy to provide everything from personalized VIP invites to table cards, signage, programs, and other materials, and these can incorporate any graphic design the organizers wish
