An springtime event will soon be arriving in Burlington that will combine the luck of the Irish with a popular Easter time activity.
Kids from babies up to age 11 who participate in this year’s DRIVEN Easter Egg Hunt, which is the largest hunt offered free of charge in southwestern Wisconsin, will be search for the more than 14,000 eggs that will be hidden throughout the gym at Burlington High School. To help give everyone an equal chance, the searching will be split into four categories, and there will be lots of other fun on offer as well.
The Easter Bunny will be available for photo ops and to spend time with the kids, and there will also be a coloring station, a raffle, bunny tattoos and other activities. The eggs will be filled with a variety of prizes that have been donated by local companies, and since it is held indoors, the event will take place rain or shine. Along with the Easter themed fun, the day will also serve as an opportunity for the public to show support for Love Inc. Those who come out are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item or toiletry for donation to this organization.
