Purchasing plants that have a local provenance is one of the ways Burlington gardeners can achieve growing success, and a May pop-up market will offer them an opportunity.
The Burlington Area Garden Club will once again be welcoming area home horticulturalists for its annual Plant Sale. As they will be locally grown, the options will be well suited to area gardens, and there will be plenty to choose from.
As many of the items on offer will have been grown in the garden of the Club’s members, the function is a true labor of love. Riverside Park Pavilion will be the venue for the day. Everything from aloes to herbs, perennials, shrubs, and even cacti will be available for as long as supplies last, and the market will be held rain or shine. Upcycled garden hardware and other funds will be in the mix, and anyone looking for a new houseplant may find a new green friend to take home.
Spring is a popular time of the year for plant sales, and garden clubs often host them as fundraisers. A poster printing company will be happy to craft printed materials such as signage, plant tags, and Packaging supplies for a sales activity, and they may be printed with almost any graphic design desired.
The Burlington Area Garden Club will be kicking off another gardening season with its Plant Sale on Saturday, May 17. The activity will begin at 8:30 am.
