Burlington farmers market to resume this spring

Burlington residents can look forward to shopping for farm fresh produce, prepared foods, and handmade goods at the Burlington farmers’ market beginning next month.

The market will feature over 23 vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, organic farm produce, bread, coffee, honey, olive oil, dairy products, maple syrup, processed foods, pet products, and soap. This year, the participating vendors include more than five new ones.

Shoppers can expect to see family friendly events, activities for kids, and weekly entertainment in the gazebo. The Burlington farmers’ market website lists the participating vendors. For added convenience, shoppers can use information from the website and contact vendors directly to order online, and then pick up their order at the market.

The vendors at this market are local farmers or artisans who produce the goods they sell, so this is an opportunity to support local businesses. At their booths, vendors will display signage with their contact information and product pricing. At such events, they often use methods such as flyer printing to educate shoppers about their products and promote their business.

The opening day for this market is May 13, and it will remain open from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm every Thursday until October 21. Shoppers should head to Wehmhoff Square at 355 North Pine Street, where it will take place rain or shine provided the weather is not severe enough to pose danger.
