Burlington class to craft holiday porch planters

Burlington Garden Center wants to wish everyone a happy winter holiday season, and to add an extra touch to the festivities, it has scheduled a hands-on class.

The venue is set to run a Holiday Porch Pot workshop, and being part of the fun may help to put the attendees in the holiday mood. They will be preparing pots that can be placed outdoors on a front doorstep or other location, and they will use an assortment of natural materials to craft their project.

Each of the participants will receive a 13-inch fiber pot to use, and will be walked through the steps of turning the evergreen branches and red osier dogwood twigs into an attractive arrangement. Additional design elements, such as berries, pine cones and ribbons, will be available for purchase at the time of the class. There is enough room for 16 participants, and the registration fee starts at $45.14.

In the lead up to the holiday season, many businesses offer workshops and other crafting classes. Marketing these activities can be a simple task with assistance from a local printing services company.

Burlington Garden Center has plans in the works to host this hands-on session on November 12th. They are asked to arrive by no later than 11:00 am, and everyone is reminded to dress for the weather and bring along a pair of pruners if they have one.
