The Tri-County Riders group is asking all motorcyclists in Burlington and the surrounding areas to assist them in helping kids in the community.
The organization will be hosting its Annual Toy Run in support of Love, Inc. There will be six different routes to follow, and all someone needs to do to take part is either donate $20 worth of new toys or pay a registration fee of $20. To add to the celebration, there will be plenty of food, as well as live entertainment and cold beer on tap. There will also be raffles with prizes ranging from $1,500 to $2,500.
To help kick things off, there will be a pre-registration party at The Log Cabin in Burlington.
The event has been planned for September 11 at 8:30 am, and the runs will meet and leave from the Chocolate Fest grounds in Burlington. Riders are welcome, and the fee for them has been set at $10. After 3:30 pm, the festivities will become open to the public.
The preregistration party has been scheduled for September 9, and will start at 5:00 pm. Flyers can be used to effectively promote activities such as this to the surrounding community.
